A great SB from frenzy!

What I am always most impressed with is your selection of quotes; it's always a good range. This one is no exception, I quite enjoyed it.

Whatever will you SB next?

Frenzy responds:

It's a mystery. :o

.frenZy.

What a good idea.

Hehe, [shower scene]. While I usually believe SB's are only good when funny, you had a good selection of quotes here. Combined with good choice of background and simple design; a decent effort indeed. -X-

Frenzy responds:

Thanks!

hehe, not bad.

I've seen a few 'good flash guides' along the same lines as this, and your's simplicity adds to its effectiveness. Also, that BG music is v. good.
Just remember for the future, that insulting the intelligence of your audience in your comments, even in jest, doesn't always go down well.

blanblan responds:

Then maybe I should get rid of the insulting. O_o

Thanks for the review. :D

How did I miss these?!

What a good game! Good graphics, smoothly animated movement, clever dialogue (that foreshadowing line, lol).
A classic item-swap clock game; very nice. I'm indifferent to the bg music; it fit but, I don't know...

Impressive range.

What a large soundboard: I don't think I've seen one with that many on it before. And of course it helps that I enjoy blockhead and his near-random sayings no end. Very nice.

wizardman responds:

WEll, that was what I was going for; a lot of sounds. thanks for the review.

Nice summary

You've taken all the useful info, and put it in the one place. A good intro to NG for first timers. Things like numerical info for batting average and B/P ranks are far more useful than vague descriptions of 'power', and I appreciate that.
Unfortunatly I don't think this will attract too much attention. Perhaps a movie with similar content would serve that purpose... if it doesn't already exist.

HomerDough responds:

thanks

Nice pointers.

I can't really comment on how useful it would be, as I do not use flash, but it was a tidy tutorial with good music loops, and what appear to be good techniques and code snippets. I'd like to think someone finds this useful.

Storm responds:

Fair enough...

Take that, soldiers of God...

ahem, anyway. I was very impressed that the graphics were the result of actionscripting. I've seen nifty as tricks before, but i wouldn't have suspected if i'd seen them in another context.

Woot!

Another excellent "assasain" flash by Tom Fulp et al! Had a classic feel to it.

Timeless!

I've loved this ever since it was one of the main features of NG, (so what if i was too young...), and the improved performance is a further bonus. I would love to see more stuff about the "Pico" crew from you, and i', sure Pico 2 will be great.
